PM Modi Ukraine Visit Live: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Friday, marking the first visit by an Indian premier to Ukraine. The historic meeting is expected to focus on finding a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which has been raging for over two and a half years since Russia’s invasion.
In a statement prior to his visit, Modi said “No problem can be resolved on a battlefield,” and expressed India’s support for “dialogue and diplomacy for restoration of peace and stability as soon as possible.”
