Maharashtra Ex Minister Anil Deshmukh Injured After Stones Thrown At His Car
Anil Deshmukh, the former Maharashtra home minister and NCP (SP) leader, was left with injuries when his car was pelted with stones in Nagpur district on Monday night.
According to police reports, the attack occurred around 8 pm near Belphata, on the Jalalkheda Road near Katol, when some unidentified individuals threw stones at the former minister’s car while he was returning from a meeting in Narkhed village.
Nagpur Rural Superintendent of Police, Harsh Poddar, informed that senior officers were rushed to the spot and Deshmukh was taken to the Katol Civil Hospital for treatment.
