Punjab:BJP convenes meeting regarding MC Elections
Will take our development agenda and win the upcoming MC elections: Preneet Kaur
Patiala, 20 November
The Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party today convened a meeting with aspirants of Patiala regarding the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.
The meeting was headed by Former Union minister Preneet Kaur, and other senior BJP leaders.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Preneet Kaur informed, “Today we convened a meeting with our Bharatiya Janata Party workers to take stock of the preparations for the Municipal Corporation elections which may well be held soon now, after the Honourable Court’s intervention.”
She further said, “Our workers and aspirations are prepared and are eager to contest the elections. We will take our Bharatiya Janata Party’s development agenda to the public and I believe that we will surely win the Corporation elections in Patiala.”
BJP Punjab’s Mahila Morcha President Jai Inder Kaur said, “There is a clear discontent in the public against the Aam Aadmi Party government and their false promises. Earlier they promised to give ₹1000 each to our ladies and even after 2.5 years they haven’t fulfilled their promise. That’s why the public especially our ladies are prepared to teach them a lesson in the upcoming MC elections.”
Jai Inder Kaur further said, “As the Bhagwant Mann government has failed on all angles and other parties entangled in infighting, I’m sure that people will vote for Bharatiya Janata Party candidates. The BJP has led development all over the country under PM Narendra Modi Ji’s government and following in those footsteps we will ensure that all the development works of Patiala, that have been pending since the AAP government formed, are completed at the earliest, as money for them were already sanctioned by the Captian Amarinder Singh led government in previous tenure.”
Along with Preneet Kaur and Jai Inder Kaur, the meeting was attended by senior BJP Leaders Anil Sareen, Bikramjeet Cheema, Kamal deep Saini, Gurtej Dhillon, Hobby Dhaliwal, KK Malhotra, KK Sharma, Sonu Sangar, Vijay Kuka, Hardev Balli, Anil Bajaj, Balwant Rai and others.
