Drug smugglers run over police constables at toll plaza in Andhra Pradesh
Suspected ganja peddlers travelling in an SUV rammed into two police constables who were checking vehicles on the eve of New Year in Kakinada district.
According to Peddapuram DSP, Srihari Raju, miscreants travelling in a Mahindra XUV vehicle were intercepted by the police as part of a vehicle check.
When the police constables were trying to check the vehicle, the car rammed into the two constables and fled.
The two constables were admitted to the hospital, and their condition is said to be stable.
