DBU organised Workshop on Management & Commercialization of IPR
Mandi Gobindgarh, March 21: The Placebo Club, Faculty of Pharmacy, University School of Law, IPR Cell Desh Bhagat University in collaboration with IIC and Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, organized a program titled Workshop on Management & Commercialization of IPR. The event witnessed active participation from students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and University School of Law.
The workshop served as a valuable platform to educate participants on protecting intellectual property and effectively managing intellectual assets. Ms. Divya Khurana, Scientist, Punjab State Council for Sciences and Technology and Dr. SourrabhTiwari, founding Member Venture Bolt, Mentor of Change at AIM, Niti Aayog delivered the expertise on the topics like patent filing, licensing, strategic commercialization, and navigating legal frameworks were covered, emphasizing the role of IPR in innovation and economic growth.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, inaugurated the event. Dr. Puja Gulati, Principal, School of Pharmacy, delivered the welcome Address.
Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur congratulated the staff, students, of faculty of Pharmacy School of Law, IPR Cell DBU for the successful event. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abhijit Joshi commended the efforts of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The event was a resounding success, fostering innovation and collaboration among participants.
