Convicted rapist Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh out of jail again, granted 21-day furlough

 

Till now, Ram Rahim has spent approximately 326 days out of jail through 13 paroles and furloughs since his incarceration in 2017.

 

Detailed Breakdown of Parole and Furlough Instances:

 

1.October 24, 2020: One-day parole to visit his ailing mother in Gurgaon.

 

2.May 21, 2021: 12-hour parole, from sunrise to sunset, to meet his unwell mother.

 

3.February 2022: 21-day furlough to meet his family.

 

4.June 2022: 30-day parole, during which he stayed at the Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram in Barnawa, Uttar Pradesh.

 

5.October 14, 2022: 40-day parole, again spent at the Barnawa Ashram.

 

6.January 21, 2023: 40-day parole to attend the birth anniversary of former Dera chief Shah Satnam Singh.

 

7.July 20, 2023: 30-day parole.

 

8.November 20, 2023: 21-day furlough.

 

9.January 19, 2024: 50-day parole.

 

10.August 13, 2024: 21-day parole.

 

11.October 2, 2024: 20-day parole ahead of Haryana state assembly elections.

 

12.January 28, 2025: 30-day parole, marking his first visit to the Sirsa Dera since his conviction.
