23-year-old Indian held at Indira Gandhi International airport with 3.32 kg cocaine worth Rs 46.44 crore
Customs at IGI Airport seizes 3.3 kg Cocaine worth ₹46.44 CRORE 🚨

Acting on specific intelligence, vigilant officers of the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU), IGI Airport, intercepted an Indian national male passenger (aged 23 years) who had arrived from Entebbe to New Delhi via Sharjah on Flight No. G9-463 dated 09.04.2025.
The passenger was intercepted after crossing the Green Channel. During X-ray screening of his baggage, suspicious concealment was observed. He was immediately escorted to the Preventive Room for detailed examination in the presence of two independent panchas.
Upon thorough search, six (06) packets of white-coloured powder were found hidden in the periphery of the baggage.
On reasonable belief that the recovered substance was a narcotic drug, it was tested using the NDPS Field Test Kit available in the office. The substance tested positive for Cocaine.

⚖️ Net weight: 3317 grams (3.317 kg)
💰 Estimated international market value: ₹46.44 CRORE (calculated @ ₹14 Cr/kg)
The passenger was detained immediately and further legal action under the NDPS Act and Customs Act is currently underway.
