Desh Bhagat University organized a workshop “AI UNLEASHED: MASTERING THE TOOL OF TOMORROW”
Mandi Gobindgarh, 20 June: The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Computing, Desh Bhagat University in collaboration with Winnovation Technology, organized a highly successful hands-on workshop titled “AI UNLEASHED: MASTERING THE TOOL OF TOMORROW” today. The workshop aimed to provide practical exposure to modern AI tools, fostering innovation and digital empowerment among faculty members and students.
The workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor, Dr Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor, Dr harsh Sadawarti Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Directors, faculty members, and technical staff. More than 200 participants joined the session, both online and offline, making it a truly impactful and large-scale event.
Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor appreciated the initiative and guided the department to organize more such events in the future, emphasizing the importance of AI literacy and innovation-driven learning. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor delivered an insightful address highlighting the growing need and role of AI in everyday life-not only in teaching and academic activities but also in enhancing efficiency across non-teaching and administrative departments. His remarks inspired the audience to adopt AI in their daily work processes.
The resource person from Winnovation Technology Mr Shubham Jasrotia conducted an engaging session covering tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Canva AI, Grammarly GO, and others. The audience was introduced to the practical use of these tools in areas such as communication, design, coding, academic writing, and data organization. A hands-on training session followed, where participants actively engaged with the tools and performed guided activities to gain real-time experience.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Khushboo Bansal Deputy Director, who expressed sincere gratitude to the university leadership, the resource team from Winnovation, the organizing committee, and all participants for their enthusiastic involvement. She highlighted how such events reflect DBU’s commitment to staying ahead in technological adoption and capacity building.
The workshop proved to be a highly successful initiative in creating AI awareness and equipping the academic community with the tools to adapt and thrive in the rapidly evolving digital world.
