Desh Bhagat University’s Faculty of Education Welcomes New Students with Fresher’s Party
Mandi Gobindgarh,14 October: The Faculty of Education, Desh Bhagat University, organized a vibrant Fresher’s Party under the banner of the Educere Club to warmly welcome new students from RCI, NCTE, and UGC programs.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, who appreciated the department’s efforts and motivated students to embrace learning with enthusiasm and positivity.
A warm welcome address by Dr. Precious, Director, set the tone for the celebration, which featured colorful cultural performances, a lively ramp walk, and fun-filled activities. Students were recognized with titles such as Mr. and Ms. Fresher, Best Personality, and Best Smile.
A special highlight of the day was the participation of university dignitaries in the ramp walk, adding joy and charm to the occasion. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Precious, who applauded everyone’s efforts and encouraged students to pursue excellence with compassion and confidence.
