Setting a New Benchmark in Diplomacy and Collaboration
Mandi Gobindgarh,10 November: Desh Bhagat University (DBU) achieved a remarkable milestone by hosting its 1st DBU Model United Nations (DBU MUN 2025) in collaboration with the Panjab Diplomatic Forum, marking a new benchmark for excellence, diplomacy, and collaboration.
The international gathering was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Dr Sandeep Singh President and Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harsh Sadawarti, along with other senior dignitaries of the University.
The event was further honoured by Chief Guest Advocate Surinderpal Singh Ahluwalia, Chief Advisor, Crime Information Bureau and Member, FCI, Government of India and Guest of Honour Mr. Parth Raman, Ambassador, International Human Rights Organization, United Nations, Italy.
Distinguished diplomats, academicians, and thought leaders from diverse fields enriched the discussions, while enthusiastic delegates from various universities, colleges, and schools across and beyond the state showcased their diplomatic skills.

Winners were felicitated with cash prizes and mementos in recognition of their outstanding diplomatic acumen and leadership. The event concluded with a vibrant cultural evening celebrating the unity and spirit of global youth.
