Night curfew announced in Punjab

Amid #COVID19 spike, Punjab CM orders many emergency curbs – weekend lockdown & daily night curfew (7pm – 5 am) from tomorrow in all cities/towns, total ban on all gatherings except weddings/funerals till August 31 across state with @DGPPunjabPolice asked to enforce numbers.
In other curbs, @capt_amarinder orders govt/pvt offices in Pubjab to work at 50% capacity. In 5 worst hit districts, 50% non essential shops to open daily, buses to ply at 50% & pvt cars with 3 passengers. Says “enough is enough, even single #COVID18 death unacceptable.”
