Senior BJP leader from Punjab and former Member of Parliament Preneet Kaur met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today. During the meeting, an in-depth discussion was held on the prevailing situation in Punjab, along with key issues related to the state’s development and security.

While speaking to the media, Preneet kaur expressed serious concern over the current situation in the state. She stated, “The law and order situation in Punjab has significantly deteriorated. The increasing incidents of gang violence occurring in broad daylight have created an atmosphere of fear among the general public. Restoring peace and stability in the state is the need of the hour.”

She also appreciated the efforts of the central government towards the development of Punjab and thanked the Union Home Minister for the same. She said that under the vision of Viksit Bharat, various central government schemes are playing an important role in the overall development of Punjab. She further urged the central government to accelerate development initiatives in the state.

Speaking about the Home Minister’s upcoming visit to Punjab, Preneet kaur said that the people of the state are ready to extend a warm welcome to Shri Amit Shah. Describing the forthcoming Badlaav Rally as a rally for Punjab’s bright future and progress, she stated that it would usher in a meaningful and significant political transformation in the state.
