DBU Partners with Convex Healthcare to Open Global Career Pathways for Nursing Students
Mandi Gobindgarh, April 16: Desh Bhagat University (DBU), a NAAC A+ accredited multidisciplinary institution, has taken a major step toward enhancing global employability for its students by signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Convex Healthcare Pvt. Ltd..
The MoU was formally signed by Mohammad Nazim, Chief Growth & Academic Relations at Convex Healthcare, and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor of DBU.
Dr. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Principal,School of Nursing and Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Deputy Director, also present on the occasion.
The partnership is designed to create structured international career pathways for nursing students by bridging the gap between academic training and global workforce requirements. With a focus on the healthcare sector, the collaboration aims to equip students with industry-relevant skills and facilitate overseas employment opportunities.
Under the MoU, nursing students will undergo comprehensive training that includes German language proficiency up to the B2 level, soft skills development, and specialized healthcare competencies aligned with international standards. This preparation is expected to significantly enhance their readiness for global job markets.
Eligible students will also benefit from placement assistance in countries such as Germany. The initiative includes pre-placement support, including conditional job offers, ensuring a smooth transition from education to employment.
