Patiala News: Punjabi Prabodh exam on September 13

One of the qualifications specified for the posts of Group C and above to be filled by the Punjab Government is that candidates must have passed the subject of Punjabi at the matriculation level. For the candidates who do not have the qualification of Punjabi at the matriculation level, the Punjabi Prabodh Examination of such candidates will be conducted by the Language Department Punjab on 13.09.2026 (Sunday). According to the notification issued by the Office of the Director, Language Department, Punjab, the last date for submission of forms for the said examination will be 07.09.2026. As before, this examination will be held at the head office of the department, Bhasha Bhawan, Sheran Wala Gate, Patiala. The fee for this examination will be Rs. 3000/- which will be collected in cash. Candidates submitting the form should bring with them Aadhaar card, original certificates of 10th, 12th and graduation, and their attested copies, a 30×25 cm. A self-addressed envelope of size with postage stamps of Rs. 56/- on it and five photographs (of the same snap) of passport size (two of which should be attested by a Gazetted Officer) with a light colored background and clothes.
