Patiala News:Ensure that traders’ complaints are resolved within a month: Anil Thakur

*Funds of Rs 2 crore released to each district, problems of traders will be resolved*
*Formation of Punjab State Traders Commission by Chief Minister is an important initiative – Vice Chairperson*
Addressing a review meeting regarding the grievances of traders from different constituencies at the District Administrative Complex of Patiala, Punjab State Traders Commission Vice Chairperson and Aam Aadmi Party State President, Trade Wing, Mr. Anil Thakur said that almost all the grievances of Patiala district have been resolved and the remaining grievances will also be resolved on priority basis.
The Vice Chairperson said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Finance Minister S. Harpal Singh Cheema have provided funds of Rs. 40 crore for the Punjab State Traders Commission, while Rs. 2 crore has been given to each district. Through these funds, action is being taken to resolve the problems related to electricity transformers, hanging electric wires and other basic facilities related to traders.
Mr. Anil Thakur said that the formation of Punjab State Traders Commission is an important initiative taken by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. Through this, traders have got an effective platform to convey their problems and complaints to the government and necessary action is being taken to resolve the complaints.
He said that during the next one month, all the districts of Punjab will be visited to review the complaints of the traders and every possible effort will be made to resolve them. The constituencies in which the progress report was not found satisfactory were instructed to ensure the resolution of the pending complaints within one month.
Mr. Anil Thakur thanked Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Finance Minister Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema for the efforts being taken to resolve the problems of traders and strengthen them.
On this occasion, Member Punjab Trade Commission Punjab Sanjeev Gupta, Vice Chairman Punjab Trade Commission Patiala Gurpreet Singh Dhamoli, District Chairman Vinod Singla, Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal and Assistant Commissioner Harjot Kaur Mavi, besides officials of various departments were also present.
