Patiala News:Boys’ chess competitions were held in the district school tournament

Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinder Pal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar, chess competitions for under 14/17/19 boys were organized at the School of Eminence Philkhana.

In the Under-14 boys’ competition, Pati-3 Zone won first, Pati-2 Zone won second, Bhadson Zone won third, in the Under-17 competition, Pati-1 Zone won first, Pati-3 Zone won second, Pati-2 Zone won third, in the Under-19 competition, Pati-1 Zone won first, Pati-2 Zone won second and Nabha Zone won third place. Principal Dr. Rajnish Gupta and Principal Jaspal Singh Mandaur reached the spot and blessed the players.

On this occasion, Amaninder Singh Baba Zonal Secretary, Zone-1, Balwinder Singh Jassal Zonal Secretary, Zone-2, Lt. Charanjit Singh, Tejinder Singh Teji ASI, Pradeep Kumar (Treasurer Ghanaur Zone) and Press Incharge Jaswinder Singh were present.
