Patiala News:Boys’ cricket competitions were held in the 70th District School Games.

Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and under the guidance of District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar coordinated the Under 14/19 boys cricket matches at Budha Dal Sports Complex, Patiala. In the Under 14 matches, Patiala-1 came first, Rajpura came second, Patiala-3 came third, in the Under 19 match, Ghanaur defeated Patran, Nabha defeated Bhadso, Samane defeated Bhunnarheri, Patiala-2 defeated Nabha Zone, Patiala-3 defeated Rajpura. Prabhjot Singh scored 24 runs and Gaurav Singh 15 runs, Parag took 1 and Bhagat took 2 wickets. On this occasion, Principal Rakesh Babbar, in-charge of cricket, Convener Satwinder Singh, Praveen Kumar Coach, Vinod Kumar Coach, Harish Singh Rawat, Surinder Pal Singh SP, Amandeep Singh, Sandeep Kaur, Vikas Jindal, Nirbhai Singh Tohra, Naveen Kumar, Paramjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Cricket Coach, Sports Department, Press Incharge Jaswinder Singh were present.
