Patiala News:Cleanliness drive from Pathak Vihar Khera to Bhagat Singh Chowk under Mission Clean Punjab

Under the ‘Mission Clean Punjab’ being run by the Punjab Government with the aim of making the state clean, green and pollution-free, a special cleanliness drive was launched today from Pathak Vihar Khera to Bhagat Singh Chowk (Sanjay Colony Road) in Patiala.

On this occasion, under the leadership of MLA Ajitpal Kohli, Mayor Kundan Gogia and Municipal Commissioner Pooja Sial, the cleanliness work was reviewed and necessary guidelines were given to further improve the cleanliness of the area. During the campaign, cleanliness was ensured by removing garbage from the roads, surrounding areas and public places.

On this occasion, councilor Geeta Devi from ward number 33 of the Municipal Corporation, Jyoti in-charge of ward number 39, Rohit Singla in-charge of ward number 35 and Gurpreet Guri in-charge of ward number 40 along with other dignitaries and sanitation workers were present.

On this occasion, Davinderpal Singh Mikki, Halka Coordinator NMM also participated in the cleanliness drive. He appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness around them, throw garbage at the designated place and extend their cooperation to make this cleanliness drive of the Punjab Government a success.
