Patiala News:The form for the Punjabi typing, shorthand and speed test of the language department can be filled without delay till September 20.

As per the instructions of the Language Department, Punjab, the private examination of Punjabi typing, shorthand, and speed will be conducted by the District Language Officer, Patiala on October 2026. Giving information in this regard, Research Officer, Patiala Dr. Manjinder Singh said that the examination forms for the examination to be conducted at the District Language Office, Patiala located at Bhasha Bhawan, Sheran Wala Gate are being received from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm till September 20, 2026 and the form can be filled by paying a fee of Rs. 200 for Punjabi type (without late fee) and Rs. 300 for Punjabi shorthand/speed typing, from September 21 to September 30 (with late fee of Rs. 50) the form can be filled by paying a fee of Rs. 250 for Punjabi type and Rs. 350 for Punjabi shorthand/speed typing and from October 01 to October 10 (with late fee of Rs. 100) the form can be filled by paying a fee of Rs. 300 for Punjabi type and Rs. 400 for Punjabi shorthand/speed typing. After this, no application form will be accepted. The examination for students who pay the fee on time will be conducted in October 2026 at the District Language Office, Patiala.
