Patiala News:Dedicated to the 650th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji, 5 special drone shows will be held in Patran, Patiala, Rajpura and Nabha from 9th to 13th September.

Dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji, a special show of 500 drones will be organized to give the residents of Patiala district a unique experience of the combination of modern technology and spirituality. During this five-day series, a glimpse of the life of Guru Ji and his message of universal good will be presented through lights in the sky.
Disclosing this, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the first show will be organized by the Punjab government on September 9 at Anaj Patra, the second on September 10 at Anaj Mandi Sirhind Road in Patiala Rural constituency, the third on September 11 at Polo Ground in Patiala Urban constituency, the fourth on September 12 at the stadium of Government Ripudaman College Nabha and the fifth show on September 13 at Anaj Mandi in Rajpura.
The Deputy Commissioner said that through the coordinated flight of hundreds of drones, the ideology of equality, humanity, solidarity and social unity of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji will be conveyed to the audience through different shapes and colors of light formed in the sky. He said that this presentation will be an effective medium to connect especially the youth with the great life and message of Guru Ji.
Dr. Himanshu Agarwal invited all the residents of the district to witness the supernatural spectacle of drones and said that they should be a part of these shows along with their families and share the joy of the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji.
On this occasion, the nodal officer of these events, ADC Rural Development Damanjit Singh Mann, said that keeping in mind the influx of people during the events, the administration is making necessary arrangements including transportation, security, parking, electricity, water, cleanliness and seating under the supervision of the concerned SDMs.
