Joint efforts will continue to make Patiala cleaner and more beautiful – Kohli
A clean drive was conducted in Patiala under Mission Clean Punjab, a cleanliness campaign being run by the Punjab government to make the state clean. During this, along with cleaning in different areas of the city, people were made aware to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. Additional Commissioner Simarpreet was also present on the occasion.
In this regard, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli appealed to the city residents to cooperate with the administration and the Municipal Corporation to make the city clean.
During this clean drive, under the leadership of MLA Sahib, MC Jagtar Singh Tari, MC Kiran Ahuja and MC Meena Devi and Jasbir Singh Bittu reviewed the cleanliness work and gave necessary directions to the sanitation workers.
On this occasion, the leaders said that making a clean city is not only the responsibility of the administration but also the joint responsibility of every citizen. They appealed to the people to throw garbage only in designated places and cooperate in maintaining cleanliness around them.
He said that joint efforts will be made to make the city cleaner and more beautiful by continuing the cleanliness campaign.
