Patiala News:Human Rights Commission Special Monitor meets with health officials

Patiala 18 September ( ) A meeting was held at the Civil Surgeon’s Office, Patiala under the chairmanship of National Human Rights Commission Special Monitor Mr. Bal Krishna Goyal. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Shelly Jaitley , Medical Superintendent (MKH) Dr. Vikas Goyal , SMO (MKH) Dr. Shabdeep Kaur , all Program Officers and the team of Media Wing were present.

During the meeting, Mr. Bal Krishna Goyal issued instructions regarding improvement in the parking system of Mata Kushallya Hospital, stopping parking of vehicles in emergency and OPD areas , separate parking for staff and three hours validity on parking slip .

He instructed that apart from this, instructions were also given regarding cleanliness in the hospital , arrangement of toilets , proper disposal of biomedical waste , weekly checking of suggestion box and provision of ultrasound facility to the patients in the hospital itself.

On this occasion, the problems of the nursing staff , details of the hospital staff , services being provided by CHCs and SDH hospitals were discussed.
