Patiala News:Under-17 basketball kicks off in 70th Inter-District School Games

Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar, the Under-17 Boys Basketball Competition began at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Smart Multipurpose School Middle Branch Punjabi Bagh Patiala. 26 teams of Under-17 boys are participating in this tournament. Principal Vijay Kapoor State Awardee and District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh reached the spot and blessed the players. In today’s competitions, Multipurpose School Wing Patiala defeated Ludhiana, Rupnagar defeated Moga, Kapurthala defeated Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Bathinda defeated Pathankot, Mohali defeated Fazilka. On this occasion, Principal Maninder Kaur, Amarjot Singh Coach, Amaninder Singh Baba, Kamaldeep Singh Coach, Ramnik Ahuja Coach, Gurmeet Singh Coach, Shiv Bhandir, Amandeep Kaur, Kuljit Kaur, Kuldeep Kaur, Tejinder Kaur, Irwandeep Kaur, Indu Bala, Meena Sood, Harveer Kaur, Khushwant Singh, Balwinder Singh, Ravinder Singh, Swami, Gurinder Singh, Sehaj, Chamkaur Singh, Sunil Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Sucha Singh and Press Incharge Jaswinder Singh were present.
