Patiala News:Cleanliness drive in Patra under Swachhta Hi Seva campaign

-Appeal to people to dispose of garbage only in designated places, not to throw garbage in plastic bags on the roadside or in empty spaces

As per the instructions of the government, a cleanliness drive was launched in the city by the Municipal Council Patran under the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa-2026’ campaign. This drive was conducted under the leadership of the Municipal Council President Amritpal Singh and the Executive Officer Baljinder Singh.

During this, the sanitation workers of the Municipal Council cleaned public places and markets by removing garbage. On this occasion, the city residents were made aware to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings and not throw garbage on the roads or public places.

Municipal Council officials appealed to the city residents to dispose of garbage only in designated places and not to throw any kind of garbage, including plastic bags, on the roadsides or in vacant lots. They said that the cooperation of the people is very important for making the city clean and beautiful.

He appealed to the city residents to extend maximum cooperation in the cleanliness activities being conducted by the Municipal Council, saying that with joint efforts, the city can be made clean, beautiful and green.
