Patiala News:The Sports Department, Patiala, organized the District Level Games under the theme of “Homeland Punjab 2026” on the fourth day on 30-9-26.

On the fourth day of the district level games, athletics, kabaddi circle style, volleyball shooting, handball, Gatka, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, swimming, roller skating, weightlifting, archery, kick boxing and tennis ball cricket games were conducted in different age groups and at different venues.

Giving information about these games, District Sports Officer, Navjot Singh Dhaliwal said that in these games, in the game lawn tennis age group under-14 girls, Harmanpreet Kaur defeated Arva Hassan, Wani defeated Mohilka, Avneet defeated Ishani Garg, Sifat defeated Jainsi and Guntaj defeated Avnoor Kaur. In the under-17 boys, Akshveer defeated Yashraj, Amaninder defeated Teghbir and Harjas defeated Prabhjot. In the table tennis under-21 boys, Harshit won first place, Parbir won second place, Chirag and Prabhji won third place.

In the handball age group Under-14 boys, the Bhunarheri team achieved a brilliant victory by defeating Sanaur by a margin of 18-12. In the Under-17 boys, the Bhunarheri team also achieved a brilliant victory by defeating Sanaur’s team by 17-12. In the age group 21-30 boys, the Sanaur team defeated Bhunarheri’s team by a margin of 18-15 and emerged victorious.

Athletics Game Age Group 41-50 Women Javelin Throw Baljit Kaur Kaleka won by securing first place, Sanjoli second place and Imandeep Kaur third place. In Long Jump Men Age Group 70+, Bal Singh won first place and Mukhtiar Singh second place.
