Patiala News:District and Sessions Judge Avtar Singh visited Nabha jails, listened to the problems of the prisoners

District and Sessions Judge, Patiala Shri Avtar Singh Jian along with Madam Amandeep Kamboj, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Patiala visited the new District Jail Nabha and Open Air Jail, Nabha. During this visit, District and Sessions Judge, Patiala, Shri Avtar Singh personally visited each barrack. In an effort to listen to and resolve the problems of the prisoners, the Hon’ble Judges had meaningful discussions with them, especially regarding their professional training and rehabilitation. Special emphasis was laid on resolving the grievances and problems of the prisoners and ensuring adequate health and medical facilities for the prisoners. Necessary instructions were also given to the jail authorities and staff in this regard.

On this occasion, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Patiala Madam Amandeep Kamboj also highlighted the availability of free legal aid for the needy.
