Patiala News:Meeting regarding leprosy at the Civil Surgeon’s office

A meeting regarding leprosy was held at the Civil Surgeon’s Office, Patiala, under the chairmanship of Civil Surgeon Dr. Shaili Jaitley with the officers and employees of various departments of the district. During the meeting, discussions were held on the identification of persons affected by leprosy, treatment and extending the benefits of government health schemes to the eligible beneficiaries.

In the meeting, it was discussed with the officials that the concerned victims should be given necessary information regarding pension and other government facilities and efforts should be made to provide the benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries.

apart from Discussions were also held regarding making UDID cards of eligible beneficiaries , issuing disability certificates and providing other health facilities. The officials were asked to complete these works on priority basis and ensure due benefits to the needy persons. District Leprosy Officer Dr. Rajiv Chamber, Mohan Singh and the media wing team were present on this occasion.
