Patiala News:Punjab Sports University’s first youth festival on October 24
Punjab Sports University Patiala is organizing a Youth Festival on October 24 under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill. It is worth mentioning that this is the first Youth Festival being organized by Punjab Sports University. Giving information in this regard, Vice Chancellor Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill said that we are committed to making every possible effort for the multifaceted development of Punjab Sports University. “He said that the first youth fair being organized by the university is a first step to connect students with the disappearing heritage and heritage of Punjab through sports and studies as well as cultural activities. In this fair, various forms of heritage colors of Punjab will be seen. In this fair, along with stage arts like Giddha, Bhangra, Skit, Mimicry, traditional songs, folk songs, exhibition costumes etc., elocution competitions, poetry recitation, poster making, collage making in literary arts, soft arts like Nallah weaving, Pakhni weaving, Gudiya Patole, clay toys, Rangoli and folk games like Shatapu, Geeta, Rope Jumping and Tug of War will be organized.” More than 15 different colleges will participate in this fair, whose accommodation and food will be well arranged by the university administration. The aim of this fair is to bring out the hidden talent in the students and identify the art in them so that the students can become a part of cultural activities and hone their skills. Dr. Gill said that S. Gurmeet Singh (Meet Hair) Member of Parliament and S. Harpal Singh Cheema, Finance Minister Punjab will be the special guests in the fair. Apart from this, prominent stars of Punjab like Sunita Dhir, Binnu Dhillon, Kanwaljit Singh Dhindsa, Swaran Rataul etc. will participate in the fair. The special performance of prominent star of Punjab Karamjit Anmol will be the center of special attraction.
