Chief Agriculture Officer Patiala Dr. Dara Singh said that during the financial year 2026-27, 16600 quintals of wheat seeds are being made available to farmers through subsidy under the NFSNM-Seed Component Scheme. He said that for the Rabi season, certified wheat seeds of various varieties are being provided to the farmers at a subsidy of Rs. 2000/- per quintal at a reduced rate at the time of purchase.
