Patiala News:District Mass Media and Information Officer Jasjit Kaur assumes charge

Patiala, November 3 () The newly appointed District Media and Information Officer of the Health Department, Patiala, Mrs. Jasjit Kaur assumed her duties today. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Shelly Jaitley welcomed her and wished her well for the new responsibility.

On this occasion, the Civil Surgeon said that the media has an important role in spreading information about the public welfare activities, health services and various awareness campaigns of the Health Department to the general public. He expressed the hope that Jasjit Kaur will fulfill her responsibility with full dedication and establish better coordination between the department and the media.

District Family Welfare Officer Dr. Balkar Singh, District Epidemiologists Dr. Gurpreet Kaur and Dr. Divjot Singh, DPM Ritika Grover, Deputy Mass Media Officer Mahavir Singh, District BCC Jasbir Kaur, BEE Shayan Zafar and SI Anil Guru were present on this occasion.
