Taking forward the series of development works with the aim of further strengthening the infrastructure in Patiala city and providing better facilities to the common people, today MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli inaugurated the construction work of YPS Market to Gau Mata Chowk Road, which is being built at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 30 lakhs. With the completion of this project, the road system of the area will improve and the common people, shopkeepers and passers-by will get great convenience in transportation.

On this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that development works are being carried out in different areas of the city keeping in mind the needs of the people, so that the citizens can get better basic facilities. He said that roads are an important part of the development of any city and their better condition plays an important role in making the daily life of the people easier.

He said that the construction of the road from YPS Market to Gau Mata Chowk will provide more convenience to the people using this route during transportation. Along with this, the residents of the area and people associated with commercial activities will also benefit. He said that the main objective of the development works is to solve the problems of the people and further enhance the level of facilities in the city.

The MLA said that the Punjab government is giving priority to the welfare of the people and the all-round development of the cities. In this direction, development works are also being carried out in Patiala city as per the need, so that the people can get better roads and other basic facilities. He said that for the development of the city, it is necessary to keep in mind the needs and suggestions of the people and efforts will continue to take forward the works related to the development of the area.

He also said that along with improving the appearance of the city through development works, it is also important to facilitate the movement of people. The construction of this road will further strengthen the infrastructure of the area and will facilitate the daily commute of people.
