Patiala News:Additional District Magistrate issues instructions regarding examination centers

Additional District Magistrate Anuprita Johal, in exercise of the powers vested in her under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code 2023, has imposed Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code around the examination centers established by the Board for the September 2026 examinations from 01 September 2026 to 22 September 2026.

The orders state that the Punjab School Education Board is conducting the examinations of class 10th and 12th September 2026 from 01 September 2026 to 22 September 2026 in the examination centers established by the Board. In order to conduct these examinations smoothly, Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code is imposed around the examination centers, under which the gathering of five or more persons around the examination centers is prohibited. These orders will be in force from 7 September 2026 to 22 September 2026.

The Additional District Magistrate said that if anyone in the district is found violating these general and specific orders, appropriate legal action will be taken against them immediately.
