Patiala News:Block level tennis ball cricket competitions held in Patiala district under Sports Watan Punjab-2026

The Sports Department, Patiala, organized block-level tournaments for boys and men in tennis, ball and cricket age groups above 14 years under the Sports Homeland Punjab-2026.

Giving information about these games, District Sports Officer Navjot Singh Dhaliwal said that teams from 10 different schools participated in tennis ball cricket at Block Patiala Urban. The team of Cricket Coaching Center, which is running at P.M. Shri Multipurpose School, batted first and gave a target of 68 runs and secured the first position, while the team of Multipurpose School secured the second position.

In the finals of tennis ball cricket at Block Patiala Rural, the team from village Lachkani won first place and the team from village Sidhuwal won second place.

In the Tennis Ball Cricket at the Government Pepsu Stadium, Rajpura, the Holy Angel School team defeated the NTC -1 Rajpura team by 5 wickets to secure the first position, while the NTC -1 Rajpura team stood in second place.

Similarly, in the tennis ball cricket competition being held at the Chief Minister’s Sports Stadium, village Dedhana, block Patra, the team from Daffariwala defeated the team from village Dodhra by 4 wickets and secured the first position.
