Patiala News:The captivating staging of the play ‘Hamare Ram’ captivated the residents of Patiala.

The unique performance of the famous play ‘Hamare Ram’, which is being staged by the Punjab Government with the aim of conveying the eternal teachings of Lord Shri Ram to the people, left the audience spellbound on the first day of its staging in Patiala. Famous actor Ashutosh Rana delivered a strong performance in the lead role in this play.

Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh joined a large audience at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, OSD Urban Development Mukilan R, ADC Damanjit Singh Mann, Colonel J.V, Jasbir Singh Gandhi and a large audience.

The Health Minister said that this show is part of the state-level cultural campaign of 41 theater shows being organized free of cost for the people across the state by the Punjab Government, so that people from all sections of society can get inspiration from the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram.

Dr. Balbir Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has taken important steps to spread the message of truth, religion, compassion and unity through the effective medium of theatre, as well as to strengthen the values of Sanatan Dharma.

The Health Minister said that this initiative by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh to promote the rich cultural heritage and traditional values of the state beautifully presents the eternal teachings and ideals of Lord Shri Ram. He said that two more shows will be organized here on September 19 as well.

The Health Minister said that the special thing about this play is that internationally renowned actor Ashutosh Rana is the main attraction of this show, whose strong acting further enhances the attraction of this show. He said, “The state government is committed to conveying the eternal message of Sanatan Dharma to the people through the historical epic of Ramayana.”

He further said, “The Bhagwant Mann government is making every possible effort to ensure that such programs take the teachings of Sanatan Dharma closer to the people and inspire the younger generation to adopt these eternal values.”
