– Health Minister begins door-to-door outreach in his constituency to highlight works undertaken by AAP Government under ‘Mann De Munafe’

– Says Opposition parties have nothing left to speak against Mann Government

Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that “‘Mann De Munafe’ have made life easier for the people of Punjab in every respect. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has delivered even more than what he had promised, leaving the opposition parties with nothing left to say against the Mann Government.”

He made these remarks while launching a door-to-door outreach campaign in his Patiala Rural constituency to take the works undertaken by the AAP Government to the people under the ‘Mann De Munafe’ initiative.

Dr Balbir Singh visited residents’ homes in Ward No. 8, Tripuri, on Monday morning after paying obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Kashmiriyaan and Sidh Sri Hanuman Mandir. Listing the benefits under ‘Mann De Munafe’, he said an average Punjabi family receives annual benefits worth Rs 1.82 lakh, including the Mothers-Daughters Respect Scheme, zero electricity bills, free bus travel for women, free education in government schools, old-age pension, free tests and medicines at Aam Aadmi Clinics, ration, free pilgrimage, free electricity for agriculture and the Ashirwad Scheme, among others.

Local residents warmly welcomed the Health Minister and shared details of the benefits received by their families, while appreciating the Mann Government.

The Health Minister said this was the first time that a political party was going door-to-door with a report card of the work it had undertaken. He said this had been made possible by the vision of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He said that while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had reached out to the people yesterday, all ministers had reached out to them today, and tomorrow all AAP MLAs and constituency in-charges would visit the people. Thereafter, block presidents, chairpersons, office-bearers and 2.68 lakh volunteers would reach out to every household among the 6.5 million families, he added.

He further said that the opposition parties now had nothing left to say against the Aam Aadmi Party government.

Among those present on the occasion were AAP District Rural President and Improvement Trust Chairman Harpal Singh Virk, District President Mukta Gupta, Colonel JV, Jasbir Singh Gandhi, Suresh Rai, Councillor Jatinder Kaur, SK Charanjit Singh, Shankar Khurana, Nitin Khurana, Deepak Mittal, Bhupinder Singh Numberdar, Gajjan Singh, Harish, Ravinder Ravi, Neeraj Kumar, Babli Kaur, Bharti, Shashi, Harbans Singh Fauji, Arshdeep Singh, Avtar Singh and Ranjit Singh Jhill, along with a large number of volunteers and local residents.
