Patiala News:Under-17 girls’ boxing competitions held in 70th Inter-District School Games

Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar, the Under-17 Girls Boxing Competition was organized at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Smart School Multipurpose Pasi Road Patiala. Today, Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh, as the chief guests, reached the boxing ring and blessed the players. In today’s competitions, in the 42-44 kg weight category, Bani Kaur defeated Chahat, Rajveer Kaur defeated Preeti Rani, Harsharan Kaur defeated Anreet Kaur. In the 80+ kg weight category, Seerat Kaur Patiala defeated Ramandeep Kaur Bathinda. On this occasion, tournament in-charge Principal Kumari Hema, observer Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Laxmi Rani international referee and judge, Amaninder Singh Baba Zonal Secretary Patiala-1, Anil Kumar coach, Gurvinder Singh Sandhu coach, Bikramjit Singh coach, Daya Singh, Balkar Singh, Sunil Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Harjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh Bajwa and press in-charge Jaswinder Singh were present.
