Patiala News:Nagar Panchayat Ghagga conducts door-to-door awareness campaign under ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’
Nagar Panchayat Ghagga conducted a door-to-door awareness campaign under the leadership of President Mithu Singh and Karya Sadhak Officer Baljinder Singh under the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa 2026’ campaign. During this, the officers and employees of the Nagar Panchayat went door to door and made people aware about keeping wet and dry waste separately and giving the waste only at the designated places.
The Nagar Panchayat officials appealed to the people to keep the waste generated from the houses separately as wet and dry waste and not to throw it on the roadsides or in public places. They said that maintaining a clean environment is not only the responsibility of the Nagar Panchayat but also the responsibility of every citizen.
On this occasion, people were appealed to actively cooperate in the efforts being made by Nagar Panchayat Ghagga to make the city clean and garbage-free and to play their role in making the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign a success.
