Patiala News:Under the guidance of DGP Pb., DIG Patiala Range, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS, and SSP Patiala, Sh. Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS, Patiala Police has taken prompt steps to maintain law and order following the recent developments at Chitkara University.

Senior officers, including SP Rajpura, DSP Banur and SHO Banur, are in direct contact with the university management to assess the situation and prevent any further escalation.

The situation arose due to unverified information and rumours circulating through student social media groups. Police is verifying the facts and taking necessary action in this regard..

Students and the public are advised not to believe or forward any unverified messages, videos or posts on social media and to rely only on verified information.
