A large convoy of Aam Aadmi Party office bearers and workers, led by former cabinet minister and AAP constituency in-charge Surjit Singh Rakhra from Samana constituency, left for Ludhiana with full enthusiasm to participate in the state-level event ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’ organized by the Mann government at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh Ji.
On this occasion, S. Rakhra appreciated this historic initiative of the government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and said that Punjab is the land of Gurus, Pirs, Saints, Fakirs and Martyrs, who have produced diamonds of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the country. He said that this is a noble initiative of the Mann government to remember this proud history and adopt the sacrifices and thoughts of the great martyrs in life.
S. Rakhra said that ‘Jashan-e-Inqilab’ is the voice of the youth from across the state, which will resonate as a loud voice for the eradication of drugs. This event will create new inspiration and enthusiasm among the youth and will further strengthen the campaign to make the state drug-free.
He further said that during this historic event, we all should take inspiration from the ideology and lofty principles of the great martyrs and vow to mold our lives according to their ideals. This will be our true tribute to the martyrs.
On this occasion, former chairman Jaspal Singh Kalyan, former chairman Harinder Singh Kulburchhan, former chairman Bhupinder Singh Dakala, former chairman Malkit Singh Dakala, chairman Sandeep Singh Jhandi, block president Hardeep Singh, Sandhu, block president Ranjit Singh Mann, block Rajwinder Singh, block president Jatinder Jhand and a large number of party office bearers, workers and youth were present.
