Patiala News:The aim of special camps is to increase awareness among people about eye health : Civil Surgeon

With the aim of providing quality health facilities to the people, the Health Department Patiala organized an eye examination camp at Kali Mata Mandir Patiala under the leadership of Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Shaili Jaitley. During the camp, the eyes of the patients were examined by expert doctors and a team of the Health Department. On this occasion, Dr. Kamaldeep made people aware about eye health and urged them to get regular eye examinations done . In case of any eye problem, they were encouraged to seek medical advice on time and take proper care of their eyes. Health department officials said that the main objective of such health camps is to provide health services and awareness to the people near their homes. They said that 60 people were involved in today’s camp. The eyes of the people were checked up , including 50 Glasses were distributed to , 6 were referred for cataract surgery, 50 The eye doctor who distributed eye drops appealed to the people to be conscious about their and their family’s health and get their eyesight checked from time to time. Ophthalmological Officer Anita Khanna was also present on the occasion .
