Patiala News:Sports Watan Punjab-2026: Players showed excellent performance on the third day of district level games

The Sports Department, Patiala, organized the District Level Games under the 2026 Games of Homeland Punjab on the third day on 29-9-26.

On the third day of the district level games, athletics, kabaddi circle style, volleyball shooting, handball, Gatka, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, swimming, roller skating, weightlifting, archery, kick boxing and tennis ball cricket games were conducted in different age groups and at different venues.

Giving information about these games, District Sports Officer, Navjot Singh Dhaliwal said that these games were participated by S. Jasvir Singh Jassi Sohianwala, Chairman Improvement Trust Nabha.

In the weightlifting age group U-17 boys, Shagandeep Singh won first place in the weight category 55 kg, Anuj won second place and Samarpreet Singh won third place. In the weight category 60 kg, Shubham won first place, Nitin Verma won second place and Archit Sharma won third place. In the weight category 65 kg, Nital Kumar won first place and Man Rai won second place. In the weight category 70 kg, Vivek won first place and Akash won second place. In the weight category 75 kg, Manav won first place, in the weight category 85 kg, Abhijot won first place and in the weight category 95 kg, Himang won first place. In +95 kg, Ajaybir Singh won first place and Amrit Singh won second place.

In the table tennis game, Abhijit Singh won first place, Tashant won second place, Satpreet Singh and Saxsh Narula won third place.

In the Game Roller Skating Road Race Inline Under-14 Boys, Jaskaran Singh won first place, Ekjot Singh won second place, Ashvik Kansal won third place and Arjun Sood won fourth place. In the Under-17 Boys, Karanvir Singh won first place and Shivans Pandey won second place. In the Under-21 Boys, Armaan Bhalla won first place.

In the Kabaddi Circle Style age group 21-30 girls, the Bhunarheri team won the first position. In the U-17 girls, the Patran A team won the first position, the Samana A team won the second position and the Patiala Urban team won the third position.

In the volleyball shooting age group under-21 boys, the Patiala Urban team won first place, the Samana team won second place, the Nabha team won third place and the Ghanaur team won fourth place, achieving a grand victory.

In the Athletics age group Under-21 Hurdle 100 meters, Hargundeep Kaur won first, Gurpreet Kaur second and Arshdeep Kaur third. In the Boys 31-40 event 200 meters, Amanjot Singh won first, Gurjaspal second and Inderjit Singh third.
