Patiala News:MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi reviews development works of the district during the meeting of the Direction Committee
*Instructions given to the district administration for proper utilization of MP Lead Fund*
MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi chaired the meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring (DISHA) Committee to review the central schemes being implemented and ongoing development works in Patiala district and inquired about the progress of the schemes and development projects being implemented by various departments in the district. Officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi said that special awareness activities should be conducted in schools to create awareness about cancer and boards should be installed regarding cancer awareness. He said that school buses should be arranged for the education of children in villages. He also asked the District Education Officer to take action to provide school buses for the school girls of villages from the MP fund. He also reviewed the utilization of the funds given in the MP led.
The Deputy Commissioner present in the meeting directed the officers to complete the development works without any delay and where the works have been completed, their occupancy certificates should be submitted soon. He assured MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi that the concerned departments would ensure action as per the instructions.
The heads of various departments said that the district administration would provide full support for the timely completion of the development works approved under the MP Lead Fund.
On this occasion, Mayor Kundan Gogia, Commissioner Pooja Sial, ADCs Damanjit Singh Mann, Navreet Kaur Sekhon, all SDMs,
Civil Surgeon, CDPOs, DOs, DPOs, Education Department, and officials from various departments were present.
