Desh Bhagat Global School’s Annual Day “WINGS” Celebrated with Grandeur

Mandi Gobindgarh, 28 November: Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated its Annual Day with remarkable grandeur, captivating the audience with an evening themed “WINGS – Where Dreams Take Flight.” The event beautifully reflected the spirit of creativity, aspiration, and cultural vibrancy through a series of vibrant performances.

The celebration was graced by distinguished personalities, with Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri, President of the Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab, as the Chief Guest. Chairman Dr. Zora Singh, General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and special guest Ms. Surinder Kaur Bedi also honoured the occasion with their presence.

Students impressed the audience with a variety of Western and folk dances, including Arabic, Salsa, Bihu, Kathputli, Garba, Dandiya, Ballet, Giddha, and Bhangra. A soulful patriotic song, a thought-provoking mime on water conservation, and captivating Qawali and Orchestra performances stood out as highlights of the evening. A powerful dance drama added further charm to the celebration. The prize distribution ceremony recognized outstanding achievements in academics and sports.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri praised the students’ achievements, remarking, “The students have smartly carved a niche for themselves. It’s essential to impart excellent education, great scruple, and values so they can effectively serve their nation.”

Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated the awardees and appreciated Principal Ms. Indu Sharma for her commendable leadership in making the event a resounding success.
