Terror Module Backed By Pakistan’s ISI Got Busted By Patiala Police
Patiala Police has successfully nabbed 4 members of a Pro-Khalistani terror module alongwith heavy quantity of militant hardware. During Press briefing. Sh. Kuldeep Chahal. IPS, DIG Patiala Range and Sh. Varun Sharma, IPS, SSP Patiala told the media persons that a Terror Module responsible for late night attempted detonation at Railway Track, near Shambu got unearthed with the arrest of four highly radicalized habitual criminals. The arrested accused persons have various heinous crime cases registered against them. The details of arrested accused are Pardeep Singh Khalsa S/O Nirmal singh R/O Mansa, Kulwinder Singh @ Bgga S/O Seerha Singh R/O Village Bappiana, Mansa, Satnam Singh @ Satta S/O Late Lakhwinder Singh R/O Panjwarh District Taran Tarn and Gurpreet Singh @ Gopi S/o Sukhwinder Singh R/O Goindwal bypass. Tarantarn. Pardeep Singh Khalsa was the main king-pin of the module as he was in close proximity with Malaysia based Pro-Khalistani terrorist as well as in close contact with Pakistan Based arms suppliers. He used to send radicalized youth to Malaysia for undergoing terror training and then assign them with the tasks of terror activities. Further briefing revealed that a Hand Grenade, Two 30 Bor pistols alongwith ammunition, other technically sophisticated communication devices to be used in further detonations and Laptops with which they used to communicate with their handlers in Malaysia based arm suppliers and handlers got recovered from the possession of arrested accused persons as they were planning to execute further of attacks on Public infrastructure and Properties. FIR no 76 dated 28-4-2026 u/s 111BNS, 3,4,5 Explosive Act, 25 Arms Act, 13,16,18,20 UAPA got registered at PS Kotwali Patiala. During initial interrogation, it also came to light that the arrested accused personss have conducted a low-intensity IED blast at Main Line of Shambu Railway Station. Patiala Police has solved the Khalistani backed blast within a record span of 12 hours.
