Dr. Sandeep Singh Pays Tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Khatkar Kalan
Mandi Gobindgarh, January 23: Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, recently paid a heartfelt tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh at his ancestral village, Khatkar Kalan, in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, Punjab.
During the visit, Dr. Sandeep Singh visited the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum and Heritage Street, where he reflected on the life, ideals, and supreme sacrifice of the legendary revolutionary who played a pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle. He emphasized the importance of preserving Bhagat Singh’s legacy to inspire future generations with values of patriotism, courage, and selfless service.
Dr. Sandeep Singh also met the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Gulpreet Singh Aulakh, and shared insights on the great sacrifice of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, highlighting the historical and national significance of Khatkar Kalan as a place of remembrance and inspiration.
Accompanying Dr. Sandeep Singh during the visit were Er. Arun Malik, Director Operations; Sh. Avtar Singh, Assistant Director – Media; Sh. Paramvir Singh Janagal, Public Relations Officer; and Mr. Sunny Suryavanshi, Assistant Professor, Desh Bhagat University.
