Dr. Himanshu Agarwal reviews preparations for August 15

-It is said that Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudiyan will hoist the tricolor on August 15.

Reviewing the preparations for the district level function being organized at Raja Bhalinder Singh Sports Stadium on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal directed the officers of the concerned departments to complete the necessary arrangements on time. He said that this time Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development and Food Processing Minister S. Gurmit Singh Khudian will perform the ceremony of hoisting the national tricolor flag.

Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said that during the Independence Day celebrations, a grand parade will be presented by the students of Police, ITBP, Home Guards, NCC and Red Cross, while patriotic cultural programs will also be presented by the school students. Apart from this, personalities who have rendered excellent services in various fields will also be honored.

Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said that various departments are working in coordination to complete all the arrangements related to the event on time. Necessary arrangements are being made for the convenience of the guests and the general public attending the event so that the Independence Day can be celebrated with full enthusiasm, pride and glory.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Damanjit Singh Mann, Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Simarpreet Kaur, SP City Palwinder Singh Cheema, Assistant Commissioner Harjot Kaur Mavi, SDM and other senior officials of various departments were present.
