Patiala News:3 new routes included for Hindu community under Chief Minister’s pilgrimage
*MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli gave green signal to buses*
Under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme being run by the Heritage Service Organization of the Punjab Government, Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli flagged off three buses today from Lakdar Mandi Shri Hanuman Mandir Chowk near Safabadi Gate in Patiala city. Mayor Kundan Gogia, Halka Coordinator Harvinderpal Singh Vinti, Madan Arora, Raju Sahni, Naresh Kumar Kaka, Yogesh Tandon, Simranpreet Singh, Manmohan Kapoor, Rahul Garg, Kushal Chopra, Munish Kumar and Rishu Girdhar were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the devotees were very excited during the yatra. They thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and MLA Patiala Ajitpal Singh Kohli for this special initiative of the government.
MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that one bus will go to Khatu Sham and Salasar Bala Ji, the second bus to Haridwar and Rishikesh and the third bus to Mathura and Vrindavan. The entire expenditure of this pilgrimage is being borne by the Punjab government and no money is being taken from any devotee. He said that till now countless devotees have done the pilgrimage and lakhs of devotees are continuously contacting the leaders of the concerned area to whom this pilgrimage is being conducted. He said that the government is also expressing its gratitude towards the people of the state for this initiative.
On this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that this scheme launched by the Punjab government is a big initiative for the people associated with religious faith. Through this scheme, devotees are getting an opportunity to visit various holy religious places. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is committed for the welfare of every section and is continuously working to provide facilities to the people.
MLA Kohli wished the pilgrims going on the Yatra a pleasant and auspicious journey. The pilgrims also thanked the Punjab Government and MLA Kohli and appreciated this initiative.
