Patiala News:The renovation and beautification work of Mata Shri Kali Devi Temple will be completed by October: Baltej Singh Pannu

Aam Aadmi Party State General Secretary and Media Incharge Baltej Singh Pannu today reviewed the ongoing renovation and beautification works at the historic Mata Shri Kali Devi Temple here. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Temple Advisory Management Committee members CA Ajay Alipuria and Sanjay Singla, along with PRTC Chairman Harpal Juneja.

Baltej Singh Pannu closely inspected the quality and progress of the ongoing construction work and informed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is personally reviewing this Kar Sewa and also issues necessary guidelines to the officers of other concerned departments including Public Works.
Talking to the media on this occasion, Baltej Singh Pannu said that the beautification work of the temple is going on at a war footing and all these development works will be completed by October, after which a new and unique picture of the temple will emerge.

Pannu said that the main objective of the government is to provide world-class facilities to the devotees who come to pay homage in the temple. He said that this is an ancient temple and it has great recognition, there are long queues of devotees here and so that they do not face any problem, hence no stone will be left unturned in the arrangements being made from toilets to seating, drinking water, langar and security.
Pannu emphasized that all the works are being carried out with utmost priority to the faith, convenience and safety of the devotees. In the coming times, Shri Kali Mata Temple will emerge as a major attraction for devotees and tourists not only from Punjab or India but also from all over the world. This will also give a big boost to religious tourism in the area.
Baltej Singh Pannu, while praising the members of the Temple Advisory Management Committee, said that the Punjab government is fully committed to strengthening the infrastructure of historical and religious places. He was accompanied by OSD Gurvinder Singh, Ravinderpal Singh Prince Lamba, Simran Grewal and other leaders.
