Patiala News:Cleanliness drive under Mission Clean Punjab at Municipal Council Patran and Nagar Panchayat Ghagga

As per the guidelines of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Local Government Minister Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, a special cleanliness drive was launched at various places by the Municipal Council Patran and Nagar Panchayat Ghagga as part of the 10-day cleanliness campaign being run across the state.

Under the leadership of Municipal Council Patran President Mr. Amritpal Singh, DTO Karan Singh, Senior Vice President Mrs. Preeti Jain and Executive Officer Mr. Baljinder Singh, a cleaning was done from Old Bhagat Singh Chowk to Narwana Road. On this occasion, Anuvinder Singh, Ajaypal Singh, Nikka Ji, former councilor along with all the staff and sanitation workers of the Municipal Council were present.

Similarly, under the guidance of Mr. Mithu Singh, President of Nagar Panchayat Ghagga, a cleanliness drive was launched at the Sub-Center, Aam Aadmi Clinic, Phirni Road and Nagar Khera Road. During this, the sanitation workers cleaned the roads and surrounding areas and removed the garbage.

On this occasion, Manjit Singh, Manpreet Singh CF, Jagtar Singh PESCO Supervisor, Rashpal Singh, Kuldeep Singh Motivator, Tarvinder Singh MC, Amandeep Singh MC, Nirmal Singh, AAP leader Tinku Verma, Jaspal Singh along with all the MCs, the entire staff of Nagar Panchayat Ghagga and the sanitation workers were present.

Officials said that the main objective of the Safai Maha Abhiyan is to make cities and towns clean and to make people aware about cleanliness. They also appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness around them and throw garbage only at designated places.
