Patiala News:Special camps regarding SIR will be held on September 6 at all 1861 polling booths of Patiala district.

-Voters will be able to submit claims/objections and forms to their booth level officer from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

As per the directions of the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, special camps will be organized at all 1861 polling booths of Patiala district on 6th September 2026 (Sunday) under Special In-depth Revision of Electoral Rolls (SIR) 2026.

Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said that voters can avail various election related services by reaching these camps being set up at their respective polling booths from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. He said that during this time, keeping in mind the work of the second phase (notice phase/redressal of claims and objections) of Special Intensive Revision by the Election Commission of India, Roll Observer-cum-Commissioner Patiala Division Mr. Vinay Bublani, posted for Patiala district, will visit these camps and take stock.

The District Election Officer further informed that all the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present in these special camps for the convenience of voters. Citizens can fill the required forms for voter services and submit them to their BLO on the spot, Form No. 6: For making a new vote (along with the required documents), Form No. 6A For registration as NRI voter, Form No. 8 for change of address, shifting or correction in voter details, can be given. He appealed to all the eligible voters of the district to take maximum advantage of these special camps on September 6.
